@@edwardranno7119 Messi has been trained to go inside the house as well as outside. They have a bathroom/shower room that they converted on the 1st floor that Messi can use anytime. It's a shower stall with the door removed, that has some mating with holes in it so he can go number 1. It goes down the drain and the mat keeps Number 2 up off of the floor so they can pick waste up easily and hose down and wash everything when he is done. It's a very good, sanitary system!! Messi was feeling saucy this day and went in Gerda's sandbox. Unfortunately Gerda has not been house trained. She was a few years old when they got her and was passed the point of training. That is one of the reasons they don't let her inside of the main house for very long as she would mark her territory to let Messi know that she was there. That is also the reason she doesn't have comfy pillows or bedding in her enclosure. They tried to but she ended up marking everything they put in there with her. Gerda does have her favorite spots out in the yard. She marks the walls and fencing sometimes but they have a little hand held sprayer that they use to clean up and get the urine off of them. Sasha and Masha are very, good at keeping everything; the house, the yard, Gerda's enclosure and the running strip out in the back clean and sanitized!! They put a lot of effort keeping everything in tip top shape. The children are very fortunate to be taken care of so well!!
