That noise he makes whenever the broken egg comes near him isn’t like any sound I’ve ever heard him make before. It seems like he really hates the smell of eggs (or, at least, the smell of raw egg) for some reason.

I also like the conclusion that the reason why Messi won’t eat eggs but Gerda will is because Messi himself is a duck inside and won’t eat his fellows, though, lol. Gerda has never quacked, after all.

Maybe it comes down to the fact that Messi isn’t accustomed to eating poultry? It seems like Messi is usually fed mammal meat, whereas Gerda is the one who’s usually fed birds. Maybe Gerda was primed to like duck eggs because she eats so much poultry, but Messi wasn’t because he usually gets red meat. That is how their diets tend to be, isn’t it?
